Meet Barry Bullard
Barry Bullard, 66, is a lifelong resident of Decatur’s District 5 and a proud graduate of Austin High School (Class of 1977) and the University of Alabama (Class of 1981). For over four decades, Barry has combined strong leadership with deep community roots, dedicating his life to service both professionally and personally.
He serves as Vice President of EMI Power & Automation, Inc., an industrial electric motor service company where he has worked for 45 years. His leadership extends beyond business—Barry is a past president and longtime member of the Decatur Kiwanis Club and served as Lieutenant Governor of Kiwanis Division 2.
On the national stage, he currently serves as International Vice Chairman of the Electrical Apparatus Service Association (EASA) and will assume the role of Chairman at the upcoming convention in Nashville this July.
Barry and his wife, Belinda Walker Bullard, raised their family in District 5, where they continue to live today. They are the proud parents of Brooke and Ben, and loving grandparents to Everett and Olivia.
Barry’s campaign is rooted in accountability, experience, and a heartfelt commitment to the future of Decatur. He believes in practical solutions, strong local values, and a government that listens and delivers for the people it serves.
